Now, I know, I know. You think those two things are mutually exclusive. But that just means you've underestimated just how little concern for my own dignity or personal safety I really have.

The Medical Test thread looked promising there for a bit, but then it tailed off, and after that, I'm all out of insanely dangerous short-term plans for cash. You guys look desperate and poor, what do you suggest?

I was hoping some be-suited guru might swing by, Brian, and give us a helping hand. You know, pay their dues to the little people.

And hey, maybe you're desperate and poor for a reason, you know? You might not have started out that way. Maybe you had your glory days and blew it all on gold plating your furniture or whatever. I want to stop short of the gold plating stuff. I just want an Xbox.

Is that so much to ask?

What I'm thinking of doing is buying really cheap clothes from penneys and selling them on ebay.com to the rest of the world for a profit. Dunno how well it'd work though.

IIRC prostitution is legal. You can't solicit in public, and it's illegal to profit from the prostitution of others (pimping's out so), but it's legal to make a living from screwing folk, so off you go.

Heard an ad on the radio the other day for a "company" (cant remember what type of company) looking for healthy non-smokers to participate in a study and theyd put ya up in a Belfast hotel and youd get paid €3,500. Id consider it meself but I cant remeber any more details.

If your dignity is not an option try the following:

Find any kind of door to door sales job. You'll find them in the recruitment section of your local paper. Alternativley look for a leafleting work.

Offer a car wash or window washing service domesticaly or to businesses.

Develop a street act that relies upon an aptitude that you have.

If you're a talented card player try your odds at poker.

Finally, invest what little funds you have in a costume, make a banner that says "will dance for money" and head into your city. Its anonymous and you may be surprised at the local reception.

You get nothing for nothing. Take part in that study and you can forget about ever getting a health/life insurance policy. Plus there a no guarantees about the effects.

Ever consider getting a job? I mean a real one, not the cleaning the skidmarks off the toilets in Coppers one you currently keep yourself busy with.
